DK-16 or DK-26 Series Digital Keypads- Fail Secure

It is possible to use the Digital Keypad’s Hard Code function to provide manual building opening and closing at this door. This will allow the customer to unlock the door (during business hours for example) and then relock it manually (at close of business for example). This is called a “Toggle Mode”. Once the door is relocked the standard User Codes will allow standard after hours entry. If you intend to use this application you will need to verify that the lock is rated for continuous duty. The first thing that you must do is wire the Digital Keypad as shown below. You will then need to program at least one User Code and the Hard Code. While in the Program Mode you will also need to press in code 75. Code 75 will activate the Hard Code Toggle function. Please note that the Door Bell Function or any other function involving the programmable relay will not be available once this function is programmed.
